Here’s my three step approach
Step 1: Book the call
This is where we connect to discuss your individual needs and strategize a game plan for how to find the right mortgage for you. I am able to book this call whenever is best for you and am happy to chat via phone, FaceTime, Zoom, or in-person.
Step 2: Send the documents
After our initial call, I send you a short list of easy documents in order to put your application together and get you approved for the mortgage you want.
Step 3: Get the mortgage
I review your docs, finalize the application, and hand-pick the best mortgage for you. As an independent mortgage agent, I have access to 135 different lenders, so you can rest assured that I do whatever it takes to get you the best mortgage for your specific situation.

Hi friends, my name is Zach Havens.
I am a husband married to my wife of 13 years and dad to 4 amazing kids.
I remember when my wife and I got our first mortgage right before we got married. We were young, in-love, and super intimidated when it came to mortgages and financing. We went with a bank, and didn’t really understand much of the process. We signed a some papers, jumped through a few hoops, and before you knew it, we were home owners!
It wasn’t until a few years later when our mortgage came up for renewal that I started to ask some questions. Rather than going with our original bank, I reached out to a mortgage agent in the community. We chatted, discussed our financial goals, and he was able to find the right mortgage for us. It was refreshing because I felt seen, and every question I had (no matter how simple) was answered. We got an a rate much better than what we could have gotten with the bank, and our mortgage needs aligned with our financial goals.
And that is why I’m a mortgage agent today.
Because mortgages are about more than just a home and an application. They help give us a place to live our lives, raise our kids, and build wealth. And being able to assist my clients and empower them along their journey is an absolute gift.
When I’m not helping with mortgages, I spend my time homeschooling our kids, writing songs on my piano, going on runs with friends, and thinking up fun dates for my wife and I.
